WIRE LINK BELT

Wire Link conveyor belts have been used successfully for many decades in the food, metal, and chemical industry. The main contributors to this are the reliability, the wear resistance of the belt, and the wide choice of belt materials, as well as the sophisticated design that makes variants of this belt relatively easy. Our wire link belts (type OB) also appear under other codes, such as  OBG, OBGL, DO and DL. Product names used are Wire Link Belts, Eye Link Belts, TUG-Belts, CG-Belts, Eye-Flex and Modular Belts.

The passage of the belt is made to measure by varying the distance of the individual wire links. This can be done by keeping the wire links at a distance by means of 1 or more under-welded wires (the localization wire), springs, rings, or bushes. The passage of the belt can thus vary from 2 mm to 50 mm. The diameter of the wire links can vary from 1.6mm  for very light or fine mesh belts to 4mm for heavy-duty applications. The smallest passage opening is 0.7 mm. The space between the eyes is then smaller than the diameter of the wire link itself.  Wire link belts with different passages in 1 belt are also possible.  The belt can also easily be fitted with product carriers, custom-made product carriers, raised side plates, and/or compartments. The belt can also be of a self-supporting design.
